The Ottawa CMA is the metropolitan area of Ottawa. "CMA" stands for "Census Metropolitan Area". The Ottawa CMA naturally includes the City of Ottawa, as well as several municipalities near Ottawa and also the city of Gatineau, Quebec. In fact, the Ottawa CMA is officially called "Ottawa-Gatineau CMA".
